Just curious of how people shut down their motor when they get to where they are going. I cant think of any good reason for the 4th one, but someone may do it.

I just put the kickstand down.

 

depends where im parking but mostly i pull in to a spot with it in 1st gear , pull in the clutch, hit the kill swith, let out the clutch, put the kickstand down, turn off the ignition and finally turn and lock the handle bars.

 

Turn the key, leave it in first.

Key off always. Sometimes I'll put the kickstand down or hit the kill switch to make sure those still work properly.

 

I always want my bike to be in first when I stopfor non-roll/security reasons...I actually use the same techniquefor a manual transmission vehicle.

I just leave itin neutral and turn the key. its easier that way.

 

I use the kill switch and usually leave it in neutral. Maybe i should start leaving it in 1st
