How do you protect your bike??
WolfPack
Yeah, the TW-400 can do the exact same thing for less than half the price. However it does not have a wiring harness but the wiring is really easy and only takes 5 wires.

I just did everything over the phone. The people are really cool and if you have any Q's they give you the time you need. Give them your e-mail and they will send you traking information and order conformation. The company is legit and if you look at out Forum home page you will notice that Internatrix is one of our sponsors.

I can't find a picture anywhere![:@] What I have in mind is that if you buy a hasp (for a shed or a gate) and with 4 anchors fasten it to the concrete. (You only need the piece with the loop) Find the biggest hasp you can and get your anchors accordingly.

Wheelieit: Can you describe to me where you mounted your alarm? I can't really understand where it would go. Any pics? Thanks so much for the info about the alarm. I guess I'm going to have and part with some $$$ when my check comes in.
I put everything in the tail. Control unit on the brake side, both speakers on the clutch side, the perimeter sensor behind the rear braket (for rear seat) in a way that you can pop off the rear seat and adjust it easily. I did put the antena all the way up front below the left headlight with some wires that are just ahead of the fuse box. I don't have pics right now but let me know if you need them and I'll get some.
I am seriously in a bind. I know. That these 2 alarms are like the same thing but ones 1/2 the price. but prob takes more time to install than the other one. My thing is that I dont like messing with wiring or having to take alot of things apart to mount stuff like the speakers or antenna. since I have the banana style seat :-( i think it would be kinda easy to put everything under there. not sure though?!?! I like the fact that the scorpio is all plug and play, but I dont really have an extra $150 to be spending either.
Hey wolfpack how long have u had your scorpio? How long did it take you to install?? have any pix of it all? thnx.
Im purchasing the Xena alarm disc lock this weekend. then I will make my decision on the actual alarm!!
As far as the drilling the concrete i go outside for a few min every night and drill a little deeper with my drill. its getting there LOL!! just trying not to get caught doing it!! speaking of which, i need to go drill a little more now................

my either park in my garage at night. Or when I'm out it'll be park right by the front entrance, chained to a pole and I have my .44 Desert Eagle for back up. [8D]
But I'm still going to get an alarm, but the question is...WHICH ONE????? Scorpio or InteNatrix?

WOW drill that hole some tonight was fun, and loud, the bit is squeeling alot so i got some water to keep wetting the hole. is there an oil or something im supposed to use to help with that and the bit??
BTW: I think Im gonna need a bigger drill to actually get down about 3-4 inches in a decent amout of time!!!

Since you have the banana seat it would be a walk in the park. You can put everything under the seat.

The major difference in these 2 alarms is: Scorpio has a wiring harness Internatrix does not. Internatrix is standard with all the bells and whistles and is only $140 to your door. Doesn't matter what you get if you have an RR it will be very improtant on where you decide to mount everything due to not having very much room. You should also keep in mind any other future mods when you are choosing where to put all the components.
Internatrix wiring is easy! I will explain how I have mine hooked up...
1. Ground wire to the frame of the bike.
2. A wire to the negative batteryu post.
3. A wire to the positive battery post.
4. A wire to a "ACC". This wire will be hot when the key is on. It is easy to find a wire like this around the fuse box. (headlight)
5. A wire to kill the motor. I used the kickstand. When the alarm is armed the engine will not start with a key or if someone puts the kickstand up. Not to mention, that the alarm will be screaming at anyone that gets that close to the bike.
You can also hook up 2 more wires for flashing lights (front). Just a reminder... anyone that does not have running light in the front does not need to worry about this at all. Flashing lights, if you want them, will only work if you have lights that come on when the bike is running. Personally I didn't want them.
Hope this helps in making a decision. Both alarms are good I just wanted everyone to know about the option of saving a lot of money. No matter which one you buy you still have to take stuff apart and place all the components. Don't let the wiring job scare you, its easy and I think its worth the $150 + in savings.

Thakns wheeleit. 1 More quick question. When you say "A wire to kill the motor. I used the kickstand. When the alarm is armed the engine will not start with a key or if someone puts the kickstand up" does that mean it wont start with a key OR if the kick stand is up or does it mean if you wire it into the ignition the bike wont start with a key and if you wire it into the kickstand it wont start when the stand is up? Thanks
