Default How do you guys...

keep your helmets by your bike without people being able to steal them?I don't mind carrying around my helmet, but when my girlfriend rides around she doesn't want to carry it after the ride. And I don't want to get stuck carrying two helmets anymore, especially a pink one lol. Any one here lock it up to their bike or anything like that? Possible?

Should be helmet locks under the seat/pass seat or on the pass pegs on older bikes.

The 01-03 has hooks underneath the passenger seat. I'll rummage for some 04+ pics and see if you have them too.

Alexost I have an '04 also. If you take off the seat you will see a "tab" on on both the left and the right side of where the seat sits kind of in the middle are about the operators foot pegs. If you take the open end of the helmet, where the chin strap slides into ( were the strap doubles up) on the tab and put the seat back on the helmets are secured. I hope this makes sense its kind of hard to explain much easier to show but my camera batteries are dead. I'll try to get a pic tonight for you.

The bike has a helmet lock but those aren't 100% full proof. I left my helmet on my bike and someone stole it within the 1st week of owning it!!! [:@]

I will never take that chance again even if it was a 1 time thing.

u can change the size of it on photobucket also.
mine are always huge, but u can resize them (which is what i had to do for my sig)
and yea u can lock them under ur seat, but it seems to easy to steal them from the strap so i carry mine, unless im at a resteraunt that i can see my bike, or i atleast wont be long.

but like when i go to class i take it in with me
