how do u tell another rider....???
U'll all know that when u ride with someone or others U ride in a staggered formation. What do u do or how do u tell another rider to back off when they fail to do so? Example, when I leave work I run into this old school guy who rides a badass V-ROD. N-e ways we take the same roads home so we ride, however, I noticed that this guys likes to ride side-by-side and personally I'm not comfortable doing so. Bottom line, not being rude, how can I suggest to ride safer?? N-e of u more experience riders know...??
If you know him, yeah just tell him .. if not, before saying anything just get a little in front of him and give him the universal back off (slow down) signal .. you don*t need a reason and most riders respect that .. I would 1st try that.

I was on the way home 2 weeks ago, and 2 bikers passed me in the lane on the right side...considering that I was only 2 car lengths behind the car in front of me doing 35, it was really stupid of them.
I can see how you feel a little uneasy to approach him on this topic. i met a kid when i was out riding one day and this same scenario came up... you just have to be straight up and tell him you are uncomfortable with it and for your and his safety to remain behind your and give you your space.

Never hurts to try... if he follows ur signals, score. They should put that chart in the Motorcycle Driving Manual.
that is so badass, I was looking for that. I remember seen that when i took my rider course. I dont even know this guys name but he's cool, I'll mention it to him.... thanks
