I was adamant about getting a helmet with removable liner - I just throw it in the washer, and then let it air out.

Wash the liners in mine, more so in summer,
when I store them I have a couple of cotton bags of
cedar chips in 'em, absorbs moisture , prevents mold
........ makes them smell good pretty much all the time

Take the pads out and wash em in warm soapy water, let air dry, and then reinstall em in your helmet. Any other way and you just masking the smell

Fabreeze works great for a quicky defunk

A balaclava only can soak up so much sweat in the summer time and not to mention just makes it that much hotter.

And any helmet that doesnt have removable pads is top cheap to be trusting your head in!!

Dunno if I'd put sanitizer or anything in it, you pet a dog while walking on carpet on the way out the door then touch the doorknob and your head may spontaneously combust, it's happened.. prolly. Though that might be fun for others to witness it's not really recommended.
hahahahaha made my night
