It hit 107 here in OC yesterday, and of course I went riding in it in full gear. I lasted about an hour and gave up.

I don't know how you guys do it. When it hits 90 here in Jersey, I'm almost tempted to leave the gear at home. But then I come to my senses...

It was in the high 90's or so here in VA a couple of weeks ago and I havea 20-30 min ride home from work. I normally ride in jeans, armored mesh jacket, gloves and helmet and even when moving 65I didn't feel much, if any relief from the heat. 75-85 seems to be the optimal riding temp range.

This has been the worst summer in a long time for me. It only got hot a few times. I need to move to AZ.

haha it's been 100 degrees almost everyday here in lower AL. Not to mention that it's usually at least 95% humidity too. Makes me not even want to ride. But come december when it's still 50....hehehehehe.....

Still can't wait to move back to KY though..

Certain place in the Los Angeles basin that I have ridden through in the last couple days are claiming temperatures of more than 110 in the shade. Riding between Riverside and Los Angeles two days ago I thought I was going to pass out.
