that sucks, i had to migrate servers once and had my new host screw up my plans, had to wait like 5 days before i could get my site back online. all they had to do was let me setup my subdomain and redirect, but NOOOOOO!!!! anyways, that sucks, i have been there before. what site is this anyways?

Ah, I see. I just read a headline yesterday that said BitTorrent and TorrentSpy are going to start filtering copyrighted materials. Should have an interesting impact on the torrent world.

It is a form of P2P (peer-to-peer)file sharing. You install a download manager which then you go find a .torrent file, then you downloadthe filefrom certain trackers (demonoid is apparently a tracker). As you download the files you are also required to 'seed' or contribute to the masses downloading it as well. So as more and more people download the files, more and more people are also 'hosting' the file for download. Essentially you just install the dl manager, go find the file you want through websites (trackers) and download, and the manager does the rest.

Most torrent software has a built in browser to allow for searching files in the application.

 

yes!!i hated them anyways. when i wanted a file from them they would not let me dl becouse i was not a user. all tho they do have fast speeds.
