Honda withdraws from Formula One.
All you F1 fans out there..
Dont expect to see Honda on race day.. Economic reasoning is the basis why Honda is dropping out..
When is it going to end! This economic flop is stabbing deep into the souls of so many.. That light at the end of the tunnel looks almost out of reach..

I don't think it is going to actually end as such Ebiz..
This all could just be a precursor to a long protracted rationalization of all business practices...due to the fact that things have gotten so far out of hand all over the world..
When huge Japaneses corporations like Honda have to make decisions like that , it has to make you stop and think ...
Honda not only are huge , but they use Japaneses methodology and great innovative processes through out all their manufacturing sectors to maximize profits and make thew best use of people for maximum efficiency and productivity..
If they can not make ends meet so to speak ...well what hope all the rest mate
I have always believed that economies, prices, profits and all things cost related to business could not just keep spiraling up and outward , without a huge implosion at some stage ...
Many will just go and tell you that it is bad economic management , but the reality is that it goes beyond that , into the base design of our economic systems that we have been using for decades now...
In the past we had millions of small businesses that could survive down turns better than huge muti national corporations that once hit, fold all too easilly ...
We live in a very unstable system Ebinz....
I hope things do ease up , but my fear is that even when the experts start proclaiming a turn around , that it will be not enough to save many many people from long term financial pain ..

Knowing the US Govt, we'll give them a bailout option! hahahah..
Save the Japanese market! I kid I kid...
But it truly is a scary day when a company big as Honda has to start pulling sponsorship.. Hopefully its more a precautionary measure, then a true sign of the times.
Always got to look at the glass half full...

Honda will definitely get back into the racing ....they have too...it is one of the main ways it advertises its machines...
My concern is more for the smaller businesses that have no room to maneuver or restructure ...will they recover or will the big corporations just wind up swallowing up even more of them ?
The US spent billions rebuilding the Japanese economy after WW2, Adam, bailouts then were just as common, just not so specifically linked to hard times, as they are today.
Honda have been in and out of motor racing over the years, hopefully they'll be back.
I just hope they don't start 'rationalising' their involvement in SBK and MotoGP ![X(]
Honda are probably putting huge resources into 'alternative energy' vehicles - they have a 100 YEAR business plan !
No mugs, those little Japanese lads - they build a fair bike, too !

probably a wise decision. F1 is rediculously expensive and the will probably not loose any civic sale due to them pulling out.
MotoGP and SBK are much more directly related to sport bike sales, so they will probably keep them longer, unless things get really bad.
