Default Honda program help

What is that program that dealerships use to find Honda parts? If my memory serves me correctly, it is called something like finche finder and there is a website that has it available to the public.

Also, if anyone can shed light on this. I got a crash estimate back from my dealership and they have everything itemized by part number. Is there any website that I can type in the Honda p/n and have it display the part?

Okay the program is called fiche finder, however, my other question still stands. Is there anyway to lookup parts by p/n?

You can look them up by part number at http://www.servicehonda.com/parts.php or you can use their remote desktop session to use one of their systems, but the one on the internet is easier. I normally go to http://www.mrcycles.com use their fiche finder, and then look it up by p/n at service honda. they are cheaper than most places anyway.

www.ronayers.com also has the microfiche lookup as well...and as far as i know...you don't have to worry about prices as the fiches are direct from honda so there is no price change...(i think)....i have already ordered an OEM stator cover, gasket, crankcase oil seal, and some crush washers using the Ron Ayers fiche so it works out great and the prices are the same across different sites if my memory serves....

No, the prices vary from site to site. Maybe some have the same prices, but not all. I have compared, and to my knowledge servicehonda.com is still the best place to order OEM.
