At approximately 3:30am on saturday, April 26th. I was on my way home from a buddy's house in muskego after doing some late night riding. on 108 and janesville i was slowing for a stop light ahead when a car two lanes to the left of me and about 20ft. ahead whipped an e-brake 180 and came right back at me and turned into the side road he missed. he was headed straight for me, i locked up the breaks, and then he started turning into the side road on the right. my bike T-boned him dead center. instead of me flying off, as soon as i ejected forward, my bike handlebars on the right side went right through my jacket on the bottom and hit me in the ribs. this kept me attached to the bike, so i did a complete front flip (what it felt like), hit the *** end of the car, and hit the pavement, head first,( my helmet had a huge dent/cracks on the impact area) then my knee, with the bike landing on top of me and keeping me pinned down, via the bars in my jacket, and my leg mangled underneath. then as im laying there in the road i see the ****ing ******* speed off and hit a corner. he fled. a HIT AND RUN. as i was laying there in the road, i couldnt even comprehend what had just happened. i could feel my knee being crushed under the bike, and had coolant and gas leaking out all over around me. so i screamed like bloody hell and tipped the bike over the opposite way to get out. then called 911 and waited for squads/ambulance to come. i said i was fine to the cops, although when i tried to walk the first time i completely tipped over due to my knee being jacked up. (torn ligaments and crack in my knee cap)and 2 cracked lower right ribs. anywho, in the midst off all this, while sitting on the curb, im looking at my baby thats now destroyed. my pride and joy, gone. just like that. and to top it off all, the kid that hit me came back in the midst of all this and accepted blame. so i tried to run at him and kill [sm=chairshot.gif]him but my buddy kept me down. **** happens guys.......but i never thought it'd happen to me.

Damn dude that sux! glad to hear you are mostly ok though, it could have been MUCH worse. If it's any consolation, at least the guy came back so his insurance can fix your ride and your knee. Quick healing to ya.

 

oh man that sucks dude, but on a positive side, you 100000000x better off that he came back.

Kid was an idiot for driving like an asshat and even more for speeding off, but it takes real guts to come back and accept the blame.

His insurrance should also cover all your gear (which is now unusable, especially your mangled helmet)

Heal quick, and get her back on the road.


The morbid curiosity inme wants to see pictures of the bike after the accident, to see how she fared.

 

Who said the kid has insurance?! You shouldn't confuse 'real guts' with 'overwhelming guilt and fear of jail' as to why that CS came back. He only returned to save his own *** from stiffer fines/penalties/jail time. That doesn't take courage. Anyone with integrity wouldn't be driving like that in the first place, and damn sure wouldn't have even thought about fleeing.

Sorry this happened Bark, glad you had the gear. Hopefully worm dick has insurance and your claim will help make up a little for losing your best girl...

 

If he doesnt have insurance than you can at least press charges and I would hope you have uninsured/underinsured on your insurance. I would be very pissed off but heal quick and get yourself a new baby!

 

thanks much for the best wishes. the kid claimed he had insurance, most likely under his parents name. i have basic liability insurance on my bike. covering bodily harm if i wouldve been at fault. but seeing as he admitted to the act the blame goes 100% on him. his insurance company better cut me a check soon or im gonna **** a brick. if he doesnt have insurance, would the best course of action be to sue him?

If that were the case, suing would be your onlyoption. Garnish his wages and even then, if he doesn't or can't keep a job, you'll never see your money.
