Highest Miles you have racked up on a bike
So everyone says Honda's run forever, and Im wondering how long is forever?
What is the most miles you have gotten on a Honda
And anyone with a bike with lots of miles but still mechanically sound please post! I would like to hear some numbers
So far my bike has 15.4k and I only put 1k on my 1997 CBR 600 F3

both bikes run like new or better  mine will need a valve adjustment soon and a cct. Jareds has had both done to it (maybe a few times), and he had to replace the shifting star last year. other than that just regular maintenance.

159,200 miles on my '04 F4i.... all mine, bought the bike brand new 10-17-04 with 3 miles on the odo
She's needed a couple things here and there, but overall nothing too major. Only kinda major repair was a transmission problem... jumping out of 3rd gear, which started at 114,000 miles. Had to replace 2nd, 3rd, and 6th gears along with the shift fork and she was shifting like new again (still is). Other than that, just 2 regulator/rectifiers (100k and 157k), 3 CCT's (32k, 45k, 100k replaced with APE manual), clutch cable (65k), 2 batteries (80k and 138k). Had a couple minor wiring connection issues with the regulator/rectifier and stator connectors, but I just hardwired everything and eliminated the connectors so no more probs there
She needs a couple little things done.... steering head bearings need replaced (still original) and possibly wheel bearings too. Also need a valve adjustment done and fork oil changed. Oh and the rear shock is getting a lil weak too. But other than that, she runs like brand new still, and smooth as glass!! Still ridden each and everyday, and on long trips (just did a cross country trip and back beginning of April). Rock solid reliable.... never let me down anywhere
Here's the thread from when she turned 100k back in '07. Disregard the sound in the video... my video camera is a POS and distorts the sound really bad for whatever reason, making the bike sound like a POS in the vid, but it really doesn't

Oh yea and FWIW, I also have an '89 Honda Accord that's about to turn 392,000 miles.... original motor, still runs like new, everything works including a/c
