Don't worry guys, the're not going to close it.
As Italian, I would be the first to be sad about it, caus I saw there my first SBK race, but believe me, every year it's the same story: they say it's too loud, they say it's in the middle of a natural park, bla bla bla but in the end......it's still open! And you know why? Because every sigle race in this track brings thousands people, and of course a lot of money for all the shops/hotels/parking lot...in Monza andaround Monza. You really think that THREE family that lives near the circuit have the power to close it? Money talks.
Also, this petition is useless: the news about the closure of Monza are dated february 2006. A couple months ago the Monza city counseil approved a new "acoustic perception project" to manage the situation.
