ok bike cranks up ONLY when i spray starter fluid in the throttle bodies. ive arced all plugs and tested the fuel pump, when it primes it does spray gas out, without the starter fluid in the throttle bodies it wont crank at all. and when i do spray it itll crank after i hold the starter button down forever and then itll only run for like 5-10 seconds but it sounds normal when it runs. i looked at the injectors but i dont know what to be looking for, obviously the problem is fuel related and i strongly think the injectors may be clogged...any ideas?

 

try some injector cleaner..

is it possible it could have jumped 1 tooth on the timing

 

^ I was thinking timing also. I've never been inside one of these motors but it sounds like timing just from experiecne from cars. Justmy $.o2

 

i forgot to mention that it did sit from june till just now due to various reasons, which is why i think it is fuel related. the last time it ran in june it sounded just fine. i dont think bikes jump timing by sitting, but maybe the injectors get clogged? how can i test the injectors
