Help identifying unit of bike

Default Help identifying unit of bike

So i was looking thru my bike last night and found some loose wires and when i looked at them closer i found a little black box on the bike. It had a button on the middle of it and two sets of wires coming out of it. It also said APC+ on the front it kinda looks like this Name:  apc.png

Ahh APC - American Police Control.

It's a wireless device that allows police to remotely shut down the ignition of your bike if they think you may be intending to break the posted speed limit.

But now that you've put it near your laptop they will shut down your internet connection if you attempt to look at ****.

Quite clever really. Don't put it anywhere near your girlfriend.

There is a company called APC that makes battery backup stuff, but I didn't see anything that looks exactly like the unit you have and the symbol isn't quite the same, but thats about the only thing I found.

crack the cover off and see if there are any labels under the case?

Post some better pics, closer in on the main wiring harness,and any connectors that are on the ends of those wiring, but that looks like the main control unit to a motorcycle alarm to me.

It's the wrong logo to be the APC company that was into all the custom lighting for cars and trucks - but that looks like any of the generic branded alarm brains out there.
