Is it just me, or do you guys get some serious helmet hair after having your helmet on for a while? I have pretty short hair, too! 1 on the sides 4 on the top and I have a Shoei Rf-1000. Every time I take my helmet off I have the imprint of the pads on my hair and it looks so hilarious -_- Just wondering if it's just me haha because when I see other riders take off their helmets they look pretty normal.

Nah, its not just you. I have short hair, somewhere around 1 and half inches max. the way I look at it, if your helmet fits you correctly, you are going to have helmet hair. If its too loose, you probably wont. Most people wear helmets that are far too big for them. the helmet should fit so it doesnt move around at all.

I always have a hat with me. Or, you could always shave your head.. but then you will need a new helmet as your current one would be too big..

 

Not really. I usually do shave my head to a "1" all around and I still get helmet hair. It looks like a sad attempt at trying to style hair when I get helmet hair haha

 

lol. i get helmet hair till i shake my head. unfortunately i have really greasy hair so i can only go about half a day before i need to wash and drie my hair again when i ride for a couple of hours. YUCK!!!

 

I usually cut my hair with a 3 and I get grooves in my hair all the time from the pads. It looks goofy but I usually bring a hat with me

 

You could always wear a wig
