the motor was bored and stroked to a 788cc its lighter and makes some powwer. The cylinders were over sized 350 thousandths with LA sleeves then the i had a set of pistons made with the wrist pins moved up higher on the skirts for a set of longer rods and a stroker crank. and i get just a little little little more form the yosh pipe. and i got a power commander (has the custom fuel maps n special program to run it right, if you guys have one you know what i am talking about) and yes it has cams, rockers.

and to get back on topic, i think im just going to go with the cargo holder looks easier and cheaper too. thanks guys

did you do the work yourself? if not, who did?

longer rods? haven't heard of longer rods being used in a stroker motor... either shorter rods, or higher wristpins (with stock rods), or a combo of the two. longer rods will cause the pistons to become intimate with the head.... think about it, with the journals being further away from the center of the crank, on the up stroke, a longer rod is going to throw the piston into the head....

what all has been done to the head? any porting? serdi valve jobs? did you get custom grind cams, or a drop-in set from erion or somewhere similiar?

i had a friends that bored and sleeved an r6...seemed like a waste of money to me for only 135hp. and you can't rev as high because the pistons have to travel a lot further which is the 600's bread and butter..... but hey, i love to Do Work, regardless of what it is. so a stroked and bored 600 in my book is still cool

you have any pics of the motor? i'd love to see em

anyways, to answer your question, the F3 passenger pegs have the helmet lock there. i'm sure you could make them work on a 600rr and if you had a handy locksmith, im sure you could get the helmet lock to work with your current lockset.

No i actually had a buddy of mine do it, who i purchased the bike from. I am not sure exactly what else or all he has done with it unfortunately he is no longer here with us anymore (http://www.msgroup.org/forums/mtt/to...?TOPIC_ID=8863) but thats as much as i know that he did to the bike.

As far as pics go soon as spring hits i need to change my oil to get riding again (and i cant wait for this snow to melt) i can take some
