Hello from Miami & a Question - Motorcycle TV Show
Hello all, hope all is well. I just got a question:
Would you watch another MOTORCYCLE TV SHOW?
Let me explain:
In this world of (what I find to be) ridiculous reality television and programming that just leaves people brain-dead, I've had the idea of putting together yet another motorcycle show. Something that has a bit for everyone, no matter what kind of rider they are. The thing is, before I set out on trying to get the funding, sponsors, writing episodes, etc.., I really want to get an idea of how many people would care to watch that kind of show, & what day of the week and time would be best suited to watch that kind of show. It's my initial research to figure out what the cost to produce would be. I'm going to post this on a few different boards, so if you see it somewhere else, just skip it, or say you already replied on a different forum. If I get enough answers, I can use the replys as something I can get network people to look at, so please, let me know and I'll do what I can!
PS. If you have a chance, let me know what kind of topics you would like to see discussed (if you had a choice).
I'm new here so it won't let me post a poll (or I don't know how yet) SO, these are the choices:
1) No, I would NOT watch: I don't like TV.
2) Maybe: If the segments were interesting enough...
3) Yes: Anything with 2 wheels and a motor is OK in my book!
4) Only if my spouse lets me....
Thanks!

It depends on what kind of show it is...
Another BS reality show pretending to build bikes by a fake deadline while fake fighting with your family?...no
Another show that is just a big infomercial for a shiny gadget?...no
Another show featuring stunting and bike nights?...maybe twice
Another show re-capping that weekends races and news?....yes. I'd DVR that.
Another show featuring riding all over the world on motorcycles?...yes, for a while till it sold out to the sponsors too much.
...of course, having nice looking women never hurts.

3 for me.
but i'd hate if it turned out like that jason britton show. all stunts, mostly the same. not much substance. id love it (*if it*) was a show that did different things each episode. trackday episode. cruiser episode. builder episode. drag bike episode. best roads episode.
and the humor and everything are funny.
pretty much - a top gear for motorcycles - which i think fastbikes magazine did already in the uk.

One of the things that I am really trying to stay away from is THAT. I'm thinking that I would like people to fifnish watching the show and say" Damn , I learned something new today!!" don't get me wrong, I have nothing against stunting, and there is a place for that, but that kind of thing I felt was not what people really wanted to see.
