Before I left Seattle I sold my 900rr on CL, within 3 hours of posting the ad I had the title signed over and the bike was gone, when I got home to Michigan I bougth the bike I own now off CL also, always cash though. I love the site, still go on there to see what kind of bikes areup for saleeven though I have no intention of buying one.

Craigslist is the Google of online advertising.

I've used it, had buddies use it and it's the best at what it does...

Puts you in touch with buyers and sellers in the most streamlined manner possible with the fastest loading pages possible.

There are rules, as with any type of purchases - but generally the same rules apply when buying in person - which is ultimately what the outcome of responding to or listing an ad there is.

just make sure if you are selling a bike that you dont let them sit on it or test ride it until you have cash in hand.

I sold my F4i on craigslist, took 2 weeks, being that it was a bike the guy came to pick it up with a certified check from a bank. If I sold soemthing i was sended to them I would only take a money order from USPS nothing else

I love CL, cash only in public places. It's never failed me in a butt load of transactions both buying and selling. It's like ebay with instant gratification. What could be better?

I sold my old Suzuki GS 500 on Craigslist Detroit. I put the bike on and the next day I had the thing sold. It was great.
