Default Hand and arm signals

Well, I was riding around the other day and threw out some hand and arm signals for a lane change. I realized I do this alot and was wondering if anybody else does this. Just curious.

i did when i didnt have rear turn signals on my 900rr. but with the way us bikers move our arms when we are riding (resting on leg/hip, throwing down a wave to a passing bike, etc) people dont really pay attention to it even if you do use proper arm signals.

Unless I have traffic behind me or riding in a group I don't use hand signals. I never use turn signals unless it's dark and I'm in traffic.

Just a side note - I've seen a lot of riders lately using their right hand as well as their left. Hand signals are to be made with the left hand only! Sorry - most people prolly know this, but it's amazing how many don't.

Ill throw out a long left arm when im slowing down to make a left turn and someone is behind me. Otherwise, most of the time I just use thumb turn signal.

I do it always. At least when I feel it is safe to remove my left hand from the bars that is. I make more of an effort than ever now that I have aftermarket signals that lack the spread of the stock signals.

I never use em...Ive got 4 sets of blinkers on my bike (mirrors, flushmounts, undertail, and rear peg) so i figure they can see me.
