Default Gun projects

Just a couple pics of what I've been working on. The glock is just for fun, changed out some springs to a wolfe set and lightened up the trigger to take some of the slop out of it. The 1911 is a Kimber series 1 and is my daily carry, beveled the magwell, polished the feed ramp and overhauled it with a complete wolfe spring set also. Had the trigger tuned to break crisp at 2 lbs. The older looking battle rifle is a No4 MkI Lee Enfeild in British .303, I bedded thestock to barreland worked over the trigger on it as well, completed it out with correct oiler, bayonete and micrometer flip-up sights and steamed out the dings in the stock. The target was shot at 200yds with the remington 700 in .223, all 5 shot groups, The Remington has a timney trigger group and is bedded as well, also had the bolt face trued recently. Just something to keep me busy. Idle hands and all....enjoy

i love the mag you have in that glock. if i got caught with that here in cali i would get in big trouble. for some stupid reason the clips on my glock are regulated to 10 rounds but my friend in colorado says the clips he has go up to like 13-15

I stopped trying to keep up with Californias laws. The ban sunset was great, now high-cap mags are dirt cheap and the 10 rounders are just about free. I use that for my camp gun, just load up 30 rds and don't worry about keeping a box of ammo around.

I collect Lee Enfeilds and K98's, working a deal right now to get a deaths head K98, no import or capture marks, all numbers matching in 98% condition. If your not concerned with manufacture, matching numbersor origin, you can get a good No4 MkI shooter for 150.00 or so.

A Mosin? Easy pickins man, those are a dime a dozen. Saw one today in the Big 5 ad, 89.00$ can't beat that.
