I have been playing for 10 years. I was so addicted to playing in bands that I have played a ton of genres. I learned to play on pretty much entirely blues and old rock. My first instructor was also a really big old school jazz fan, and along with blues and rock played a lot of stuff like bluegrass so I picked up quite a bit from him. He got me into a book that I would recommend to anyone which is one of the Al Di Meola books. In this particular one; A Guide to Chords, Scales and Arpeggios he discusses the many different chord variations. After playing big Al's chord formations everything else seems like a walk in the park. Check out:

I am also probably one of the worlds biggest Zep fans. This is my favorite jams by the gian lead balloon:

I have so much respect for this next man Mr. Howlin Wolf, along with many other blues artists that I love like Mudd Water, Blind Lemon Jefferson, and John Lee Hooker. If you love Zeppellin, Hendrix, and many other classic rock you should check this guy out because he has inspried many, of them. Hendrix covered him several times, and Zeppelin immortalized his riffin in The Lemon Song

Voodoo I know you will agree with me when I say Hendrix is the ultimate jams. This is one of my favorite songs to play and listen too. Wind Cries Mary

Pretty much anything else...seriously. I just love to play. Nowadays I pretty eccentric with my tastes. I go back and forth to acoustic jams based in folk/bluegrass tones to the deepest of metals. I also plays drums, bass, sax, harmonica, and even the didgeridoo, lol, so I love anything. If I really need to get some real jammin' done and get my angst out these guys really do it for me. I know a lot of you are probably fans, and I have really liked everything about them since they were still Burn the Priest. Here's...lamb of god with one of their best vids ever.

My axes include a fully custom Strat dubbed appropriately the Frankenstein Strat. It has a vintage black Fender body w/ a pearl pick plate, but with Chandler Lipstick pick-ups which give it a totally distinct sound. I have a standard Fender tele, all white with gold hardware which is a PITA to keep clean. My acoustic of choice is a Taylor, which I don't own, lol, but I do have a Telecoustic. I'm not a big fan but it was cheap and did me alright for shows but only really when it was plugged in. My only bass is a Fender Jazz, nothing too special.
