+1000 that's a cool gesture that your friend gave you one, but in all honesty, that's about the gayest addition I've ever seen for a bike. Just think, the bell fairy is leaning back in their chair counting all the dough that suckers have spent on this item.

 

That sentiment is understood. I view it as more of a reminder to be safe than as some "mystical magical power". I think that's a more effective way of looking at it.
