Default Great Idea for a New Mod!!!

If someone could come up with a way to move the damn button for the horn to a place where I won't bump it every time I cancel my turn signals it would be great. I'd be willing to pay some serious $$$ for that modification.

Seriously though, you need to have Jedi skills to avoid the stupid horn button. I hit it at least once every time I ride.

I hear ya. If I turn the bars all the way to the left with my tankbag on, it hits the horn button. I don't usually use my horn much anyway. A quick rap on the throttle gets peoples attention real quick.

I like it when you forget to cancel the signals and pull into the busy gas station to fill up and start the bike back up after filling it and go to cancel them and hit the horn, and it gets quiet and everyone looks at you LOL I say "well the horn works" and take off LOL

After you hit the horn accidently, just randomly wave at someone. Pull it off like you meant to do it.

So, a lot of fat-fingered-bastards riding sport bikes, eh? Too funny dudes

I'm not saying I'll take on this project ... but out of curiousity where would you want the horn?

On the tripple tree? Like a car?

Honestly in all my days of riding I've never done what you guys are talking about. Call me Yoda.

I did it a handful of times, all in the same ride. Went out and bought a crappy pair of Icon winter gloves. Couldn't turn the damn turnsignals off for the life of me. Besides that, never had a problem with it.

No Yoda, not on the triple tree, right in the middle of the gas tank.

Check the post "Newbie Mistakes" I think its called you're not the only one at all. I'd say it was maybe 50% of the people that posted had hitting the horn on accident as one of their mistakes. I think the bike companies did it as just a cruel joke to the riders.
