Default great day off work

woke up around 8, washed and waxed all three bikes. got back in the house and leathered up, and took the RR out.

weather got up around 54 so it was pretty nice, atleast w/ all the leathers on, it felt good. suprisingly saw quite a few other riders out, and stopped and talked to a guy w/ a Duc 1098 (enter extreme drooling smiley here). did approximately 150 miles today. i'll probably go out one more time before the sunlight drifts away.

i LOVE my bikes

TK, if it was 20 i still would have done all the above minus the wash/wax. **** that cold water on my hands, lol. i dont let the weather keep me in (unless ice on roads).

ah that blows. idk how it is there, but around here they dont put enough salt out anyways, that and the cars usually make most of it blow off into the shoulders.

on another note, i hit 8k miles today.

Sweet, thats a lot of riding in a short time.

The roads here are clear, but there is that fine white film of crushed salt over them, it gets pretty slippery between that and the cold. I could probably ride if i really wanted, but it wouldnt be much fun.

I talked to a friend of the family last night who thought he was tough **** for having a longest ride of 250 miles without stopping (fuel stops not included). lol. I told him that I know a lot of sportbike riders who easily have beaten that distance. He scoffed at me. Scoffed! Dick.
