Got pulled over for plate.....
Hey all, the first time I have gotten pulled over and it was for a BS plate. Police officer was nice enough, said that when in his Tahoe he had seen me a few times nd ould see it but today in his Crown Vic, it was hard to see. I have my plate mounted at a slight angle to the my fender, so my plate sits on top of my fender/hugger instead of under my pipe. I think he was pulling me over just to see who I was cause the bikes have been out in force with all the nice weather, but I ride politely and wasn't speeding, and the cop was walking all around checking out my bike, just seemed weird is all, the way he was actng. I was polite as was he, and he gave me a warning. I know my plate isn't hard to see, unless your laying on the ground, really, its not angled really hard waay up under the rear or anything. I have ever seen this guy before so don't know whether to push my luck like I'll never see him again, but don't want to get pulled over in a week by the same guy saying "I told you so" whatcha think?

He could have been checking out your bike to see if a runner, you know, looking for plates designed to flip up/out of sight or kill switches for lights. I've seen people use parst off of RC cars to make flipper plates and kill switches that turn off all lights except for the high beam. That way they can kill the lights and flash the high beam on for a second to see where they're going. A lot of work, it'd be easier to just not **** em off.
