Got me a race for next week
I guess I was talking with my coworkers and they all think that their bikes are fast as ****, one guy said that his runs high 9's, so I told him my old cbr would probably put up a good fight so we suppost to go to the track next week and see what's up. One of the guys has a brand new 07 cbr600rr that is stock as far as I know, second guy has an 01 r6 that has sprokets, exhaust, power comander, it's jetted too, and I have a 95 cbr900rr, just has full twobrothers exhaust, it's jetted I believe and k@n filter, it runs pretty good, But I am going to pull the carbs off and clean them up and sync them before I go. The guy with an r6 has been to the track once, he said he ran high 11s at like 120mph stock last year( he's 200lbs), the guy with an 600rr has been riding for 2 years but thinks that his 600 runs 9's stock, so I think that he's full of **** ( he's 130lbs), and I've been riding my cbr for the last 2 months, I am not a pro by any means but been to the track plenty of times with my mustangs, so it won't be nothing new ( I am 165lbs). So what do you guys think? Who will be the quickest/fastest?? I think it'll be close, and it'll all depend how good we'll get out of the hole, they think that I am full of **** and that the new bikes are the greatest.
We'll be going to the 1/4 mile track

Depends on who gets the best launch really. You've got more torque than they do, so I'd bet on you. With only 2 months on it, don't ham fist the throttle or you'll be on your *** pretty quick.

Now depending on the launch and other variables im thinkin the stock 600 is gonna give you a run for your money but youll eeeek him out...BARELY...and a stock 07 is not a 9 second bike.. let us know how this ends up...as u can see a 06 1KRR is barely a high 9...with the best rider under optimum conditions....Sportrider was the source used for times...
