Yikes Bumblebee! Sorry to hear that... I tell my girlfriend some of the more interesting things I read about on the forum here... But I always leave out stories of accidents, especially one involving a bunny! She worries enough about me riding, let alone thumper and the other woodland creatures!
Get better soon man!

^ Agreed. Moved here to OT.
Bee, best wishes for a speedy recovery.
A couple of wknds back, I had a scare w/ 2 groups of turkeys on one of my favorite twisty roads. My buddy was leading...came around a turn & a group of turkeys was in the middle of the road. How he went thru keeping his line w/o hitting a turkey, I'll never figure out. Seeing the events unfolding in front of me, I just knew I wouldn't be so lucky... I hammered on the horn to scare the turkeys outta the road. All moved except for one. Keep in mind, this is all happening *very* fast. That last turkey took flight & I took a hit down the side of my helmet! Thankfully, I kept my composure & maintained control. At my next stop, I discovered turkey feathers embedded in my R side helmet vent. :O It was a big turkey. Had I taken a direct frontal hit to my helmet, no doubt it woulda been a bad scene.
