Question GoPro to Ipad ? Possible?

So thinking about my upcoming cross country trip here, and is it possible to upload directly from your GoPro Hero (not hero2) directly to your ipad?

I'd then like to be able to take them from the Ipad back to my home desktop.

Is this possible? Anyone know?

I'm computer retarded and hate apple even more than windows.

Apple iPad Camera Connection Kit - Apple Store (U.S.)

just get one of those guys and plug your gopro memory card into that then plug it into your ipad. Im not sure if the ipad supports the gopro hd video formats or not though so im not sure how well itll work. But now im curious and bored so ill probably look into it and find out.

edit: it seems like all the problems people had with playing gopro videos on their ipads are with the first ipad with older os versions. So i guess as long as your ipad os is up to date you should be fine. Even if you cant play them on the ipad you can still transfer and store them on there for when you get to a computer.

If youve got an android phone you might be able to use the dropbox app or something if youre around wifi and try playing the videos on there too.
