Maybe it's just me, but I've read that article in various places several times and he's not very clear about exactly how to *achieve* what he calls The Pace. It's a whole lot of "you want X result" without the steps, if that makes sense.

Yeah, I don't understand the actual steps to set the "Pace". Maybe it's the whole mental aspect rather than the physical riding the bike.

"The Pace" is different for everybody, so it can't be specified. It's the pace at which you can comfortably perform all of the maneuvers he discusses. For some it may be 35 - 45MPH, and for others, 85 - 100.

it looks like the article is a response to the most common complaint from bikers that the least fun about riding is the cornering. We all know snapping through a corner is one of the BEST feeligns about riding, but it's not something most of us can achieve every single time. The articles tells us how we CAN. Once you can corner perfectly every single time, then every second of your ride becomes a great experience.

I like botching turns up......it gives me something to work on

Which sport biker doesn't like the turns? That's like saying muscle cars don't like going fast in a straight line.

my biggest problem with cornering is consistancy. I have also attempted to use my entire 160 tire, and cant do it. I have about 5/8s left on each side. I cant get it any further, and I am pretty sure it has to do with my techniqe but I suppose when the time is ready, It will happen.
