Default Good Gun Sites

Looking for some good gun sites. I found one a while back that I think had a green background and you could choose from manufacture and caliber and such but I can't find it .

Just wondering if any of you knew of any good sites to buy from or use for reference. Looking for a .38 and a .40 or .45. Also, what kind would you guys recommend for either of those. Not looking to drop a whole lot at all, more of a pleasure and home gun. Thanks

(Hi-Point, Bersa,Kel-Tec any opinions on those?) I have a Beretta 9 right now so just looking for something for the wifey to take to the range and have at home.

Try gunbroker.com ... may have been the one you saw and is one of my personal favorites. I also used Nafr.org to pull some places within driving range to go and actually get the feel of different makers and such. Hope this helps! Safe shooting.

Can't go wrong with a Sig Sauer. One of the more accurate pistolsout of the box. Kind of pricey though. Glocks arereliable, easy to use, clean, affordable. They are kind of ugly though. Smith and Wesson has a new line ofguns out, the M & P, or Military and Police.Very nice, affordable, with a lot of little cool features. A friend just bought a .40 for about $400, came with 3 magazines, and night sights.

If you're looking for home defense, IMO nothing beats a 12 gauge. Mine is loaded with bird shot, so I don't have to worry about over penetration into other rooms of my house. But at close rangethe effects are still devatating. For the missus (g/f, wife)the recoil is less so easier to handle. Ialso have reduced recoilOO buck. The pucker factor of hearing a shotgun slide being racked back and forth, then staring into a barrel the size of a half dollar is a wonderful thing. If I had my choice I'd go with a Sig. I'd buy one, just can't afford it right now, rather put the $$ into my bike.

I own a Smith and Wesson 5906 9mm, Glock 26 9mm, Glock 27 .40, Smith and Wesson M&P 15T .223 caliber, Remington 11-87P 12 gauge, Smith and Wesson model 60 .38 special.

the hi point is the best buy for the price. As long as you dont plan on shooting everyday it is the way to go. YO u can get the hi point .40 for 200 bucks or so. They also make a sweet little 9mm carbine that you can buy tons of aftermarket stuff for. There is a desert camo stock for it that makes it look amazing. Straight from the factory with no mods they are definitely ugly, but hey for 200 bucks you cant really go wrong. As far as the Bersa goes I think those are really good dependable guns as well. I have the Bersa 380 and it has never jammed up or had a casing get hung up, another decent gun for a really good price.

The Bersa feels great man. The recoil is definitely there, but really not anything that is unexpected. I have owned more expensive guns, but I dont think I'd trade my Bersa for any of them. Good luck and definitely check out the hi- point .40.
