Default Good beer

I have never really had a taste for beer, but I would like to find one that I can enjoy like everyone else. I just cant get past that "beer" taste. Does anyone know a beer that doesnt have as much of that "beer" taste? Ive tried several kinds and the one so far that had the least "beer" taste was Shiner Bock. Any suggestions?

Bud light Lime is another smooth one.. Not too much beer taste.. But that is a LIGHT beer... Most Light beer (IMO) dont taste like Beer at all...

Guinness
Fat Tire (or anything from New Belgium Brewery)
Victory
Chimay
Sam has some good selections - the seasonals are nice.
Prima Pills

Give those a shot.

One of my favorite beers is Stella Artois, but usually I stick with the Coors, Bud etc. Beer is an acquired taste. Personally after 3 or 4 they all taste the same.

steel reserve...

jk. but in all seriousness, if you don't like beer - then you don't like beer. you can't really have a beer without the beer taste. beers are all personal preference, but they all pretty much taste like beer.

you can try some of the ones with fruit and whatnot in them, but at the end of the day, its still tastes like beer...

Its not any particular type that will help you its drinking it allot and often. Its an acquired taste, the more you drink the more you'll get used to it and eventually you'll start loving it.

^^^^^ A man after my own heart. The best beer to drink is always someone else's
Beer preference is such a personal thing, everyone has different tastes. Only way to really find your tipple is to try as many as you can (a real hardship). There are so many types of beer & new ones coming out every other week. There is also the debate over Cans V's Glass, Chilled or Ultra chilled, preservative free, ones that go with different types of food & ones that can get you sh*t faced after a few glasses, While others you can drink all night.
I like making my own home brew, but self restraint can be an issue.
