well guys after having my heart set on a 06 600rr, I have changed my mind, I put money down on a 06 GSXR 600. I was going to buy the honda from southern powersports in Chatt., but they didnt seem like they really wanted to sell me a bike, so I called ARS powersports in Okeech..??? down in south florida and they quoted me $8200 OTD on the Suzuki, not to mention they had much better customer service. I have had a 82 cb650, an 03 600rr, and a 01 929, so this will be my first suzuki besides my 01 rm125. I like the looks of the suzuki, and if I dont like it, I'll sell it and get one of the new 07 600rr's when they redesign them. Wish me luck!

Nothing wrong with a gixxer6, my brother just bought a blue/white one with blue rims a month ago. Hopefully he won't mind me riding it next week when I go to visit him in Phoenix.

 

There is a guy from my town that just bought an 04 gsxr 600, hopefully he will let me ride it because I almsot bought one instead of my F4i and I'm curious if I would have liked the gsxr more or less. I love my bike, but I just want to know what they feel like compared to the hondas.

I'm with you, I think they look stupid. And they lied about the 17500 redline, it really only revs to 16000. Yamaha says its because their tach is off 9% or something like that and I heard that they have to buy the bike back if your not happy with it after that redline thing. Just what I heard, if I'm wrong let me know, but I still think they look dumb.

IMO, if I was going to spend $10k on a motorcycle, it wouldnt be on a 600. I like the yamahas, actually I cant think of a supersport bike that I wouldnt love to have. Kawasaki would be my least fav, but they arent even that bad. I have always liked Hondas and Suzukis, they both continue to amaze me when the new models come out. They all handle incredibly well, they all nearly rip your arms off from acceleration. But $10k for a 600 is stupid, and personally I think having to rev to 16k to get any power out of the bike is horse****. Once again, if i was goign to spend $10k I would buy a GSXR1000k.

Oh one more thing, when I go to pick up my Suzuki, should I ask them about the free tanktop, shorts and flipflops that all the other guys around here that ride suzukis ride in?
