Going riding today... finally
With the stupid weather we've been having lately, I can only go for fairly short little rides. Either that or the nice days are during the week when I have to work.[sm=smiley19.gif]
Today finally looks like the day to get in a good ride. [sm=smiley20.gif] The weather is supposed to be cloudy, but no rain and pretty warm (upper 70's).
So I figured out a route and I'm heading out in a bit. A guy at work told me about a road he found that he thought I would like, so I have to include that in the trip. Only about 350 miles planned, but it's better than the 50-100 I've been doing mostly this winter.
Get out and ride if the weather is nice where you are! It will brighten your attitude (at least I know it will mine).

just got back from 3.5 hours of riding..had a blast..the wife rode her bike and i took mine out for a little spin..shes catching on quickly, she'll soon be ready for anything...including squids
we had a blast - I'm still a little nervous about my take-offs and I certainly don't feel ready for traffic just yet.... but I don't think it will take too long for me to get the hang of it! txn_driver is a great teacher and we will be posting new pics soon.
Might be taking mine out today. It's inthe 50's (Warm for March in Maine) and sunny. Only problem is there is a lot of dirst and a whole lotta water. (The snows not gone yet). I might take her out for a little ride though. Battery is charging as we speak
I'm back and I had a great time! I was so over due for a trip like that. 358 miles. My butt hurts a little, but my soul feels better.
Here's the route I took (and I took the RR
)

As you can see, I avoid the interstate like the plague. A little later in the afternoon as I was getting closer back to the city, traffic and cops started getting quite a bit heavier, so I had to dial it back a couple notches. Other than that, it was FANTASTIC!
I'm going again tomorrow if it doesn't rain. [sm=yeahsmile.gif]
Checked 4 sources for the weather.... 2 said it was gonna rain and 2 said it wasn't.[sm=WTFsgign.gif]
