I got my first permit and bike in December 08. After many conversations at the dmv and problems with my license's and permits I am happy to say I finally get to go for my test tomorrow. I reserved a scooter and I get to practice first so hopefully I will have some good new to report tomorrow. I also have a feeling they are going to refuse to let me take the test for some bs reason since I had so many problems leading up to now.. Wish me luck.

Good luck. If you practiced on a 600, the test will be stupidly easy on a scooter. Especially if you practiced the nefarious "Box"

Good luck The test in Texas when I took it *which you cant even take anymore you MUST take the MSF in Texas now* Was laughably easy. I'm sure you'll do fine.

 

Thanks guys Im more worried about them turning me down for something with equipment, permit related or the test being canceled because of the weather. Only a few more hours to go.

 

I took my test on my f4i.... it was friggin hard... i got lucky though... im light enough that in first gear i can feather the clutch and not give it gas the bike doesnt die ha... if i can pass it on a 600 (after having my permit for like a month) then im sure ull be fine on ur scooter...

 

I failed. I put my foot down on the second to last cone weave. 3 pts. I then did everything else fine until it was swerve to the left. I don't know what went through my head and I just went straight till the last second and hit the red line for 5 points. He said I ran over a cone when I know I didn't and that was the other 3 points... Im going again on the 21st. I'm gonna really take my time and not rush..I know I should have passed but I just zoned out.

I did everything perfect 5 minutes before.

 

thats a bummer man.... idk what rules they have there but here your allowed to take it and if u fail take it again i think you can take it 3 times till u have to wait a month or something..... sounds like u got someone who was pretty tight on the rules too...

 

I have to wait 2 weeks. I am just trying to figure out where my head was at for the last test. I think if I had a full nights rest instead of 2 hours of sleep I would have passed...
