Gas price gouging

RE: Gas price gouging
In my area, we always get gouged. We have a local refinery so you would think that would keep shipping costs down and we would have cheaper prices but we can drive 50 miles in any direction and always buy it 30 or 40 cents cheaper per gallon. I'm actually shocked we havnt seen a larger increase already since Ike hit. Its about $4.15 per gallon right now.

RE: Gas price gouging
In Aus the price varies depending where you buy it like most countries..
but we here in Melbourne are paying $1.60-$1.70 per lt which converts to around the $6.00 per gal AUD...
So after the currency ajustment we are paying about the same as you guys in the US..
Maybee a tiny little more in fact ??
I give up with fuel prices ... I just pull up and fill and suffer the bloody cost ..
Walking is just too dam hard with all my tool to cart everywhere
I tried to push my CBR1000, but its like trying to push a semi trailer and can only get up to 5km per hr... preety boring too ...
So buggerit .... I just fill the bloody things up ( van/car/bike) and drive .......
Way to much brain pain worrying about it any more

RE: Gas price gouging
So I'm posting this still with the "bike" feeling in my body, kinda feel off balance sitting still, haha
racked up like 150 miles today just riding around
but anywho, on topic, I just paid for gas (premium 93 octane) and it was 4.29 here
I'm hoping I can catch it at 4.20 so I have an excuse to smoke because I got gas, lol
was around 3.89 before the gouge, some places around here jacked the 87 octane to 5.25 a gallon, or something like that, getting sued over that too (the owner of the station)
Gas prices are bullshyt anyway, Everyone needs to boycott the stations and buy motorcycles , especially those d@mn moms in SUV's on their cell phones, not a more dangerous driver in the world. A plus side is we'd have a HUGE influx of members here
