So I have Call of Duty: Black Ops Prestige Edition (with the r/c car included) preordered since 08/13/10. Street date is Tues. I go online to check the status of my order and see BACKORDERED. Checking the help files for order status it said when in backordered the product availibility would mean 1st come, 1st served.

I checked my alternative options: Best Buy said "No preorder? Better camp out and be 1st in line for a Prestige Edition". Local Gamestops just laughed on the phone. Called and the guy on the phone assured me they put backorder status on all preorders till street date. And then gave me the tracking # for my shipment. Gamestop lives to see another day

They've screwed me before on a preorder of a limited edition. Had it sent to the store and they sold my copy before I could pick it up the day it arrived. Poor manager had to drive to York, PA to pick up a new copy

 

Never mess with a man and his video games. Fallout New Vegas was my most recent pre-order.

Kuro, you should have had pre-ordered awhile ago. I pre-ordered mine about 2 months ago. Ill be there at 11:30pm tomorrow getting my copy. Ill take bids on the prestige edition for xbox if somebody wants it! They stopped taking pre-orders about a month ago.

 

I preordered it 2 months ago too. May still hit a midnight release and pick up a second one. One to keep, one to eBay

Haven't had time to sit down and play New Vegas. And Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 jumped in the mix (horridly repetitive, extremely short game with shallow story).
