Further proof for Shirts post
well, just to add another example of Shirts accident post... I went down today. i'm fine, bike is fine.
A local forum was having a technique/ cornering day in CT, 20 or so guys there, some real track junkies to give pointers and stuff. HUGE lot with cones set up, fresh pavement Etc. nice left turn, knee down, going great, leaned it over just a tad to far. peg hit (yes peg, i removed the feelers), threw me a bit, recovered, peg hit again, lightened up the rear a little, just slid it right out.
Frame sliders were AWESOME, NO side fairing damage. MINOR surface scratches on the upper by the headlight, the seat cowl took it the worst, but still very fixable with some sanding and paint. no broken levers, or anything
was in FULL gear, unfortunately wore straight through the elbow of my Frank Thomas jacket... time to send it out to Barnacle Bill to get repaired.
OH!, and snapped the mirror right off, so if anyone has an extra left F4i mirror they don't need let me know!

RE: Further proof for Shirts post
the mistake was poor body position, i wasn't hanging off enough so my lean angle was too steep. I was kind of pissede that right after it happened, two if the guys who were "instructing" came over to check on me, and they BOTH said... "yea, i was kind of waiting for that to happen" i was like wtf? you couldn't stop me and correct me?? o well, still my fault regardless... here are some pics.
