Man what a Thanksgiving! Family, fun and plenty of drinks!! But all vacations have to come to a close right? Wrong!

My gf an I go to jump on the freeway to head back to Cali. I start hearing the valve ticking outside of Primm (vacation was in Vegas). So I take it easy on the uphill being that we were in a 4 banger toyota tercel. Make it through the upgrade and here comes the down grade, this should be no problem lol.

I had never heard the sound that a spun connecting rod makes but Im sure I know the sound now.

Long story short we have the highway patrol pushing our car on the shoulder of the freeway off to a remote gas station. Anyone that has ever been to Vegas, you no that outside of Vegas live some weird folks (these ones were weird but cool).

So now I'm stuck in Vegas and my bike is in Pomona and Enterprise only has one person working at the location closest to where I am. Tomorrow I will be picking up the econo van and going to get my baby.

in a safe place (dont touch her) lol no she is with my ex neighbors. had to pack all our **** and put it in storage due to this economy ****. so figured **** it well go out to vegas for vacation. bad idea....... or good i dont know yet!

GL getting out of vegas dude. Sucks about your car but what do you expect? It's a tercel.. my friend used to own one of those and doing head work became almost a normal thing for him until he bought a new vehicle.

 

yeah no **** i told the people at the gas station if they can fix it they can have. i'm not dumping anymore money into that car. next car will have some german craftsmanship vw golf GTI.
