BATON ROUGE, LA (WAFB) - At the Capitol Wednesday, a number of bills that could affect you are closer to becoming law. The Senate has unanimously approved Governor Jindal's plan to overhaul the state Labor Department. The revamp is expected to make it easier for employers to connect with skilled workers in the state. The bill now goes to the House. A bill that will make it legal for adults to ride motorcycles without a helmet got approval from a House committee. Under the bill, riders under 18 will still be required to wear helmets. A proposal banning anyone from riding in the back of a pickup on an interstate passed in committee. Drivers violating the law would be fined and possibly sent to jail for a month. House members have unanimously approved a bill making the fleur-de-lis the official state symbol. The bill now goes to the Senate floor.[/align]

What the f**k is a fluer de whatever? Sounds like a gay french **** movie. I guess you can't expect much from a state that builds cities below sea level.
Because the fleur-de-lis is the state symbol?
