or my suspension wouldnt be covered if i put on ohlins stuff. ect.. thats all im saying.. now that we are on the same page.. sorry for the confusion.. god i would have returned the bike if they told me that one aftermarket part would void my "whole" warrant..
lol.. no i see how you thought this was soo rediculous.. lol.

^^ That's exactly what I was thinking. Glad to hear your dealership isn't as bad as I previously thought.
But why not throw on HID's? They are SO worth it! I tried the whole projector modificaiton with two different size projectors...........won't happen unless a company specifically designs projector headlamps for these bikes (which I'm DAMN surprised I can get Altezza taillamps for a damn mini van, but can't get aftermarket projector headlamps for bikes)...........hmmmmmm, maybe I'm on to something.
Plus, I voided my warranty the second I took my headlamps apart to Audi-ize them...........and cut the wiring..........and wired in the low-beam cutoff...........and the turnsignals..........and taillight...........and grips............so yeah, there's a couple things that aren't under warranty anymore. But the only thing I'm worried about is the really expensive engine, tranny and suspension components.

FOX... will those LED's shut off when the high beam and low beam are on? or does EVERYTHING stay on when the HID's are on. (got any pictures?)
How did you wire those LED's? Is it hard to crack open the headlights and add those?
I got to do the HIG mod first, but maybe planning for the future...

Your the man Fox, those lights look sweet. I think I smell a patent for your projector lamps for bikes. Get it done dude!!
Don't any of you guys get pulled over for all those LED's or you turn them off when riding the streets?
I ordered from SuperBrightLEDs.com and got the items in a few days.

As long as they are white facing LED's, they're not illegal to ride on the roads with. If they were blue or red, that would pose as a problem.
And yes, they're always on, but you can't tell they're on when the HID's are flipped on. The HID's are MUCH brighter.
The LED's are wired into the middle LED light that came with the bike.
I was riding around with them in the neighborhood last night at dusk and MAN was I getting looks from just about everyone just staring at me. Not to mention that they are INCREDIBLY bright to the point that when I take a picture of them at night, it just looks like my regular headlamps are on. Freaks the camera out completely.
And yes, I had to crack the headlamps open. PAIN IN THE A to get them apart.

^^ Actually, no to all of it.
Those are 180-degree 6500k high-power LED's. They are the same brightness at ANY angle. They are soldered to the circuit board that is sprayed satin-black and 3M adhesive taped to the bottom of the lens. In all, just a "little" simpler than from what you described.
