Well done on the purchase.

And I love the clock!

SB, Cheers for the seconding of my thoughts. We now cover three different CBR sizes and ages
CBR125RW - 2007 (Petal)
CBR600F - 2000/1 (Goldie)
CBR1000F - 1993 (Old Girl)

What should we add next from the Honda collection I wonder? Always fancied a CBR1100XX.

Cheers Guys.

p.s Please see my other post re braking problems

Well!

Spring equinox. Snow. New CBR on a Q reg plate that took FOREVER to try to get insured.

But finally (with plenty of help and support from Rich) I own my first big bike and she's at home, taxed, mot'd and insured. I now own more bikes than my boyfriend!

Although even with two bikes under my belt, I own less cc's than Rich does.

Circling the golden beastie...

...equipping myself for the ride...

...then I noticed that Rich was taking pictures and instinctively posed like a wierdo. Why do you get the urge to make yourself look like an idiot as soon as you realise a camera is aimed at you? In the other pictures I looked pretty normal and well-adjusted!

More posts to come on fixing up her minor issues, but very tired out now.

Nice bike! Well done on the purchase of your 600! You can see your grin through the helmet.

Is it just me or does it clash just a tad with the pink riding gear??

Be safe out there BP.

Cheers, SB

Pfft! Rich said the exact same thing about clashing gear! I bet you've got mamma mia on dvd too

She's to go with my new leathers, but with the snow... winter gear!!! Lots of snuggly warm layers. She doesn't even have heated grips... yet

Thumbs up What do you call a group of CBRs?

Hi,

Here is just one of the photos taken today of our 'fleet'. This led to the question of what do you call a collection of CBRS or Hondas?

Orange CBR125 - Petal - sold tonight
Gold - CBR600F - Goldie - Heathers new ride
Multi colour - CBR1000F - the old girl

More photos to come later. In the background is our house and my company car.

Cheers

Rich

Smile Photo update

Well its been a while since our last post. Lots has happened since...

Still together and happy biking all over the country. Heather is rapidly learning the power and handling of her first big bike, as she chases the Old CBR.

Goldie now has a Beowolf exhaust without the baffle, so now looking for something for the old girl.
The 'Old girl' has rolled over 94,000 miles and still going strong.

here are two photos from our recent Wales trip. Coventry to Shell island on the Welsh coast. The banner is from my FB bike group as this was a camp for all bikers.
Will post some more soon.

Thumbs up Update

Well its been a while since we posted so here's a bit of a rambling update

As you know I sold the CBR1000F in October :-( She is now living in Preston UK and is probably over the 100K mark now.
I bought a 2001 ZZR1100 which I managed to come off 4 days after owning her :-( , cost me a bit but got her back on the road and learning to tame her now.

It's nearly our 1st anniversary and not long until a year since we moved in together (January) and life is still good :-D

We are off to bike club meeting on Friday night, I am helping put an ST1100 back on the road on Saturday and then the Bike Show @ the NEC on Sunday so very busy with bikes :-)
Heather has covered nearly 7000 miles since getting Goldie earlier this year and finally owns her (dropped) last weekend. Minor fairing damage which has been replaced, just needs spray painting.

Hope you are all well and ready for winter.

Rich

Thumbs up And life goes on. New CBR in the stable

Well it's been a while since I posted any updates so yjought I ought to let you all know we are both still alive and well. Still at our same insane place. Had a bit of a windfall last week so I have come back to the Honda CBR stable by adding a '98 Fireblade to the stable. So we now have a CBR6OOF, ZZR1100 and the blade.
Hope to catch up with some of your soon

Nice to see you back on a Honda Rich, she looks very smart, love that colour and model.

How is she size and performance wise in comparison with the Hurricane? Would be very interested to hear your opinions, if I was to sell my old girl I'd replace her with one of the older Blades.

Heather looks a little too comfortable on the new addition, you may have a fight on your hands there!
