Foreclosure anyone ?
CBR classic...thanks to you (and the others) for responses. I have been at the same job for nine months, making fifty thousand a year. I have paid the mortgage every month and can do so now, I am not behind. My total other debt is only twelve thousand. Countrywide holds the mort. I am surprised that bankruptcy sound less devastating than foreclosure. I am just sick of not being able to sell this house. I thought I might just foreclose and move away to be closer to my son. Foreclosure is not a neccessity, it just seems like a solution to my biggest problem. Life is too short for me to be living in misery and tomorrow may not come. To heck with my credit ! Thanks again yall.

( a huge sigh of relief from me mate :-)and yer ..life is way too short ... selling to move and dump all debt is a dream that most have at some stage of their lives..
Myself and my misses quite often talk about selling , building or buying a huge motor home ( a mobile one) towing the boat and and just wandering around debt free and we carry very little debt these days ....
I quite a while ago, saw a guys home built motor home that he had setup with even his ride in a specially built compartment , like a little garage at the rear ..it was really neat... and it gave me tons of ideas
and the bug to do it ourselves
Ohh- Eee ! CBRclassic...I see a lot of those retired folks in their land yachts here in my town. They come and stay for a few weeks and then just go on down the road. When I talk to them they are all very nice folk. They just drive around the country like gypsies, looking for that next piece of scenery.
My ultimate goal is to build a forty-foot, double-ended ketch (sailboat) and just chase the summer from hemisphere to hemisphere. Right now it is snowing up on the mountain here and I imagine it is early spring for you there down under. In my fantasy world, I would be somewhere around Tahiti right about now.
Sorry to cause undo stress, mate. I am not in financial shizznit, just emo-shizz. Many thanks to you from me. G.

You like boats mate
we nearly bought a large yacht to cruise on a while back ..An Adams 65 footer ($80.000 AUD)like the one below ... we were toying with living on it? and a bit of day trip hire ? .... but a whole lot of things caused us not to go through with it ...mainly the mooring and slipping costs per year here ? ... were outrageous....

anyway ..I am glad your not in the shyte mate

Thanks Dizz ! Nice to know I can always count on my oldest compatriots to tell it like it is
. Have you still got the address for those mail-order brides ? I might need that pretty soon.
Classy...I friggen LOVE boats ! I have spent alot of time on all manner of craft, from California to Alaska. I always get a thrill when I cast off the lines and become free of ties to the shore. It is a shame that berthing fees are so outrageous, they can cost more than the vessel. If I ever get to your neck of the woods, I will gladly have you and yours aboard. I will name her Ravenna. Peace, G.
