Default Fix it ticket help please

Hey y'all I live in orange county, ca and got a ticket about 2 weeks ago for a bald rear tire. Just got a fresh new one put on today, now I can

So it's my understanding that I can take my ticket to any CHP office and have it signed off for free. If not w/e it will only be as much as 25 bucks I think, but i'm 90% its free.

My question here though, is when they are inspecting my tire, will they hassle me about other violations? When i got the ticket he gave me a verbal warning about blacked out front turn signals and a tinted windscreen (I know, stupid CA law) and was wondering since (hopefully) they will just be inspecting my tire they either A) won't see the violations in the front, B) won't be aware that it is in violation of the law, or C) won't give me a ticket for it.

Does anyone have an experience like this? I have an old F2 and I'm dang sure not gonna take my front fairings off just to swap a windscreen and am also not going to sand down my blinkers just to show them my tire.

they wont even look at anything else. did the CHP issue the ticket or the sheriff? the Marshall's office at a courthouse will do it for a small fee. if your worried about it, go there. the Marshall doesn't write traffic.

It wasn't CHP it was City of Huntington beach. I figure I'll just back into the space so when they come outside they're already facing the rear tire and hopefully wont look elsewhere ya know?

thats the sheriff, not chp. i think you can just find a cop and ask them to inspect it, or go to the sheriffs office. i wouldnt worry about the other things.

So CHp won't inspect it since the ticket is not from thewm?

I wouldn't worry about it. I had my windows tinted on my s2k and got a fix it ticket and was freaking out and spent a whole day peeling it off and cleaning the windows. Went down there and they said ok and didn't even go outside. I live in pa but I guess they are figuring u don't have the ***** to not fix it and still show up. As long as u fixed it, if not for them just for your own safety they shouldn't bother with anything else. Don't sweat the other crap.

What's the cheapest option ?- Do you want to take a chance on some cop in a bad mood, giving you more grief for other violations ?

If he does see them you're going to have to fix them anyway - why take a chance ? It could be expensive.......

Just risk it. If they give you another fix-it ticket, then worry about it.
