First ride in 2 months.
I took the bike out on Saturday afternoon for the first time in 2 months. It was like I rode the day before-it felt damn good to be on the bike. It was in the mid 30's and I was not out long since I had to go on a dinner date, but my God I loved every secound of it. People were looking at me like I was crazy and I loved it. I seen one other sportbike out and he was all waving form across the intersection LOL!
It was a good day-that's all.

RE: First ride in 2 months.
Woke up to 18 BELOW this morning... - I have a countdown (69 Days) to the last week in March when I'll be pulling mine out of storage...
Good to hear it's second nature - I was concerned that I would need to do another round of BRC... - Though learning to drive on the leftover sand from the winter will not be fun [&:].
Sour grapes eh?

Did your bike run like crap?

RE: First ride in 2 months.
I went out this weekend. It was 58 degreees. It was great for the first 20 miles, then I went around a turn with plenty of gravel. My *** end slid out and put the fear of God into me. I kept my cool, and didn't do anything stupid, and was able to recover. After that, I lost my nerve and went home. Felt good to be on the bike, though.

The bike ran ok-it had a mid range studder, but was still fast. When i got home I left the bike running and went in the house. When i got the bike threw the wet yard and back into the shed the studder was go so I have no idea what's going on? I had a tune up and a full service done inthe fall so I'm going to run some carb cleaner in the tank once I start riding it more.
I just loved the fact that I did'nt miss a beat-it's really like riding a bike-you never forget LOL!
