and here is the one the only....Mighty Mississippi River coming from the MO side to the IL side



right after we crossed the river we went and ate at the world famous Fast Eddies Bon Air and it was amazing,for $5.50 I got a 1/2 pound cheeseburger,fries and a steak on a stick and boi was I stuffed when we left


this is the alton river road that runs along side the Mississippi river

I was really trying to get some pics of the trees turning colors but it was a little hard to do so



we stopped off at a park that had a scenic view of the river





and then went down along side the river for a few shots




on are way back home at this point

theres those good looking trees I was talking bout

Robbo and I stopped on the bridge on the way back to Missouri ,that is the great little town of Alton



and heres some crazy SOB with his kid out in the Mississippi river, I would never go out in that river ,theres like a 95% chance that if you fall in...you stay in...just not worth it to me




and then when I got home here is my little boy(Kage ) waiting for me to get back to play with him but he was out like a light

Cool pics, dude. I know it was chilly, did you ever wish you still had the fairings/windscreen?

 

thx, yes i do wish I still had the fairing but ive never had them on so this is all I know for right now anyways....this winter im thinking about making it stock again but then sometimes I feel I should just leave it nekked and just sell it to buy a rr in the future ...the good thing about not having all the fairings is that the one time i dropped it moving it didnt mess anything up

^ yeah it was a blast till the end if you notice in the last pic on the bridge over the mississppi my buddy w the gixxer was getting in his little diva mode and decided to leave us in the dust.....
b/c on the way out there we rode the speed limit cuz my buddies ninja just cant keep up with us so the buddy on the gixxer wanted to haul *** and didnt really want to stick with us so he left and since we all rode out their together i figured to ride in together but NOO he was ready to get home and so being the good frien i am I stuck around and rode back with Rob

How is your buddy liking that 250? How long has he had it? Has he felt he's outgrown it?

I'm thinking of getting my wench one. That or the new CBR 250rr. whichever she likes better.

he loves it still...but he does get a lil aggravated(sp?) when he cant keep up on the highway its not like we really try to dust him but sometimes it gets a little old just going the speed limit(im a least 10mph-15mph over the limit)when were going 80 or so down the highway if hes w us his bike is revving so high that he dont like to do so

he's had it since the beginning of the last this riding season prolly mar/apr???

he does want to upgrade when the time is right and as most peeps that buy a 250 he's just learning the basics which I dont hate on him for that

when we go do some twisties he's right there behind me/us usually keeps up but like I said earlier if he's w us I dont try to dust him or anything just ride to have fun and hang out
