Default First 1K

Yup yup, Ive put on 1K miles on my F2 since april and Ive loved every one. I usually ride to work n back only a few miles. But ive also gone to the neighboring cities on rides n for bike nites, up to the twisties in the mountains, and around town. Id say about 99% of the time ive kept it under the speed limit, Im not allowed to get a permit or license til I pay off a fine. Ive layed it down 2 or 3 times at stops, very minor scratches. I can control the bike so much better than when I first started. Ive NEVER riden it out of my housing complex w/o a riding jacket n gloves, and now I make sure to never go out w/o boots and my leg armor. Im so glad that I bought the bike, Ive allways wanted one just could never afford it til this year. Im 22 and hope to be riding for many many more years to come. Thanks to everyone who has given me tips and advice during my first 1K, I really apreciate it. Til next time, Ill keep riding true!

You didn't mention a helmet - if you're not wearing one in addition to your other gear, get one immediately (I think it's the law out there anyway).

1k miles in four months is nothing, haha. If I get out often, I'll do that in two weeks. Glad to hear you're enjoying it, though.
