Fired a guy today...sort of
Well I tried to, but for some reason he quit before I said "you're fired". This same guy we've had trouble with time and time again before. Today he decided to sexually harass a female employee of mine who he also happens to have had issues with before. I am not okay with that so we sat down to have a little talk and before he would admit to it he quit.
I guess it was a pride thing.
Either way, he threatened to kill me before he left...so that was awesome. Like literally said that in front of me and two other people that work for me. I can't remember the name of it, but we applied for the notice where he's not allowed near us.
He also told me I would be fired by the end of the week with "all the dirt he had on me." It's funny how people never wanna talk about stuff until they get canned, then it's everybody else's fault, they're the saint, and they're bringing you down with him. He actually called another employee and said he knew he was in the wrong but since I screwed up his life he was going to screw up mine. That employee called me to tell me that.
I'm now working 30 hours in 2 days because we are so short staffed, but it is totally worth it to be done with this mess.
That is all.

Doesnt that tick you off that they chop down your satisfaction and say I quit right before you can say your part, I hate it. I get threatened everytime, but all I say is, my door is always open and you know where I am
. But i still luv ya bro, way to kick his ***

Firing people is fairly easy.
Don't sweat it - you and your staff are better off without him.
Wait till you have to send someone to jail........
