Dunno about all this old fart stuff LOL

Classic, who do you insure with? As well as being old(er) I'm also a lazy SOB & just renewed my insurance every year without even thinking about it, I was watching the Moto GP & saw the advert for the one I'm on now.

Yeah, mine arrived $435, nearly a $100 more than last year, $400 excess (65% no claim bonus) supposed to include Old F*rt discount + more than 10 years riding experience + no claims made in the past 5 years (been over 40 years since I made a claim) + market value. Can't see my post code making any difference, cause it's classified as a medium to high crime area (inner city) so bollocks to that. Check out this site & just put the numbers in & see what quote comes back. https://w3.insuremyride.com.au

I have always had the attitude that hey , we are up a beating if we bother to claim for small chit , so as I said , I am only insured in case I destroy my CBR

but thanks mate ...
I just thought to myself "Hey, these b***ard's a cutting into my beer money", being retired I depend a great deal on investment money & lately that's been pretty slim on the ground.
No wonder most of the insurance companies are owned by banks.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think "Insure My Ride" is part of "Shannon's". Many insure with "Shannon's" till they make a claim then they are passed over to "Insure My Ride". There must be some business ethic in it but I don't know what.

I'm an old fart too. So old, in fact, that I don't buy less than full coverage.
My insurance cost is near $100 a month, but I chalk it up to a cost of doin' business.
I blame the squids! (just kidding)
I had a hard time finding a company that would insure a 1000RR. With a clean record including clean abstract and claim-free, that's just how it is.
My previous discount insurer was a write-off themselves. Sure, low price, but just try to collect/break even when not at fault!
