yea? whats holding you back? that header i finally pulled off my bike yesterday?

btw figured out my wifes sewing machine today woot woot...

seat covers here we come tonight

That's be it. Lol.

I don't know much about sewing but I've been told that most sewing machines don't handle leather or vinyl well.

Also I'm pretty sure you want your stitches to be parallel or crossed like an x on the front and the part you've got picture on the back for strength reasons...

Not positive this just seems like what I remember

^^ that pic was of two pieces of marine vinyl i had sewn together...

so i should be good...

seat with the 1" poly foam ontop... makes it nice and squishy

and hid all the jagged edges of where i cut off the old foam

The final product is not that shiny. It has about 2 coats there and i did a total of 4.

what prep did you do? sand prime and paint? or just scuff and paint?
