Makes sence, the rest of the stand is painted but the braces are not as they slide in and out. Figures is all. Like I said, I have the same stand and was just wondering, not trying to be rude or bag on it. Tons of mods out there, rear-sets, braided lines, carbon fiber fenders and huggers, screens, pazzo's......Cool thing about your bike, the silver scheme, there isn't much of anything that won't match or look good on it. I always had silver or black bikes for a reason, but went different as of late and went with the red, and not so much stuff "works" as it did with silver and black.

Yeah, I really do like the silver, it's kind of a "under the radar" color and looks amazing in the sun. As far as pros and cons compared to the F4i, I'd have to say for one is the riding position. The 1KRR has a really aggressive seating position, low rise clip-ons, and farther set footpegs than the F4i making it not as enjoyable for lengthy trips (over 100miles). Another advantage of the F4i is that it seems much easier to flick into turns, but that's what ou would expect comparing a litre to a 600. I personally would have been content on a 600RR but I got a really good deal on this one. $7500, less than 3400 miles, never been dropped at all, all maintenance done at the local Honda dealer and it still has a transferable waranty that lasts up to June of 2011.

Amazing bike man. Love the colors! Yes, a bike with a dampener should be harder to maneuver in low speed situations. You should be able to adjust it though.
The 1krr comes with Hondas damper. I think its the "HESD". I dont believe its adjustable, as it adjusts itself during riding. I may be wrong.
